    AS - WHEN

Iīd like to do a question. I donīt understand this sentence : " We all said hello as she came in "

Why do we must use AS in the sentence and not WHEN?

I hope your explanation will be very helpful for me. Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum.

See my amendments above, marked in red. We don't "do" a question, we "ask" a question. Don't put a space before a colon. Don't put a space after opening quotation marks. Don't put a space before closing quotation marks.

It's possible to use either "as" or "when" in the sentence you suggested. They both work.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: AS - WHEN

Can I use the word "and then" to replace "as" and "when"?

No. That means she came in after you said hello.
