    Addressing one's children

    Hello Teachers,
    Greetings!
I wish to know how English and American people address their children, especially collectively or without using their names. I mean is there a word that can replace "Son/Daughter/Children" in direct address?

    Thank you very much.

I address my offspring only by name.

Thanks a lot, Piscean. But suppose one has 4 or 5 children and wants to address them collectively, is there a word?

    Re: Addressing one's children

There are probably as many different ways of addressing them as there are parents. I've heard or used all of the following "kid(s), child(ren), kiddo, gang, group, you, everyone/everybody, y'all (non-standard), crew, rugrat(s), goof,Goofy, goober, motormouth, etc.

Pretty much any collective noun or term as you see fit.

If I'm particularly irritated or amused, then I get a little more creative and colorful.
