    As much as

Would you please correct the mistakes in my sentences.

    1. In some companies a CEO earns a hundred times as much as ordinary worker. ( Do I need to add "does "at the end of the sentence like, as ordinary worker does? Or maybe the sentence is correct as it is?)
    2. The tourists felt ripped off, because they had paid for their rooms as much as five times of the ordinary price.

    Re: As much as

I think (1) is fine with or without "does".
    2) The tourists felt ripped off because they had paid (as much as) five times the normal price for their rooms.

    Re: As much as

I think you need "an" before "ordinary worker".
