    hi every body .

    im hamed and coming to u from the capital of iran.

    i come here just for learning engish from u friends and im a beginner.

    for the first question

    whats the meaning of these.

    how r u holding up
    whats going on

    how r u holding up - How are you holding up? This is a way of asking if someone is OK when things are difficult for them- they might have some problems, etc.
    whats going on - What's going on? This is the same as asking what is happening.

    i've got another questions

    ya mean means do you know what i mean?

    whats the meaning of add-drop in university?
    for an old-fashioned person what word you recommend that i use? that's better if it be a polite and modern word?

    if i made mistakes in these sentences please tell me...

    Add-drop refers to adding or dropping classes.

    Does 'you mean' mean 'Do you know what I mean'?

    Always study the corrections we make to your posts.

    Start every sentence with a capital letter and end it with a punctuation mark — not a row of smileys.

    Always capitalise 'I'.

    Use proper English words — not texting abbreviations like u and ya. The correct word for both is 'you'.
