Re: How many verb meanings of the following

It's not very clear. Maybe you meant "How many meanings of the following verbs do you know?"
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: How many verb meanings of the following

Can I use it in this contex and ask someone and his reply is, ''There are six verbs and I know the meaning of four verbs and not the rest two''?

Re: How many verb meanings of the following

In addition to MikeNewYork's suggestion, you can change the word order to "Of how many of the following verbs do you know the meaning?" (It's a little messy but it's grammatically correct.)

It might be easier to say "How many of the following verbs can you define?"
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I still don't think that's as clear as it should be.
There are two ways of answering:
"How many meanings of the following verbs do you know?:
    a) set
    b) work
    c) go"

The first meaning is answered by, "I know them all".

The second meaning is answered by:
    a) set: congeal, place something somewhere, calibrate ...
    b) work: function, earn a living, do something productive ...
