    When having done

    Hi,

    *self-made*

    - When I have done my homework, I will send an email to you.

I would like to ask if I can write as:

    - When having done my homework, I will send an email to you.

    Thanks.

    Re: When having done

I think you can and you can also say "When done with my homework, I will send an email to you."

    Not a teacher

    Re: When having done

"When having done my homework, I will send an email to you" is not natural British English, mawes. I think it very unlikely that it is natural American English.

I think you are right about "When having..." but I think "When done..." is right. Look at part c) in http://myenglishgrammar.com/lesson-1...te-clause.html

    Try:

When I'm done with my homework, I'll send you an email.

    Re: When having done

I'd say, "After I've done my homework ... " or "When I've finished my homework ..."
And you could say (though I wouldn't advise it), "After having done my home work ..."

    Re: When having done

I wonder whether it is grammatical to say 'Having done my homework, I'll email you', but I am not a teacher.

    Re: When having done

    It's grammatical, but not colloquial.
