A troop is loading the dead bodies

    Hi,

Is "A troop is loading the dead bodies into the truck" correct?

    No. These are possible:

'A troop of soldiers is/are loading the dead bodies ...'
'Troops are loading the dead bodies ...'

In addition to Rover's comments, in BrE it's more usual to say "onto the truck" (even if it's a closed-sided truck).
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: A troop is loading the dead bodies

If only one person is doing the loading, you can say: "A/one soldier is loading ... etc."

Re: A troop is loading the dead bodies

Note that 'troop' is a collective noun. BE and AE treat collective nouns differently.

In AE things are loaded into a closed truck, or van. Things are loaded onto an open truck or flatbed.
