    Lightbulb Phrases

    Hello!
I have recently found a game which is about phrases. It is a good practice but very difficult. I found some of their meanings in this website but not all; so I need help to know where we have to use these phrases. These are as follows:
    1- Boot camp
    2- Track record
    3- Under the thumb
    4- Spread betting
    5- A sorry sight
    6- Arm candy
    7- Walking tall
    8- Spin doctor
    9- Breaking bad
    10- Keep it up
    11- Apple of my eye

    Many thanks for your help!
    Marjan

We need some input from you first, Marjan.

Tell us what you have found out for yourself, and include the phrases in sentences of your own.

    Dear Rover_KE
I've found those pharases in a game, which I recently started in my mobile. Actually there's no sentences, they are showing as animation and we have to understand what phrases they mean. Sorry there is no sentences!

Sorry, Marjan, that is not the purpose of this forum.

However, click here to find examples of the phrases used in a variety of contexts.

Ask again if you have a specific question about any one of them (not all 11 at once) with a new thread title relevant to each.
