    A full sentence please.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Re: Large Numbers of people / Large Number of people

What is the source of these sentences? They all have mistakes, though there's nothing wrong with 'large numbers of people/students' in any of them.

    Agreed.

To be clear, "large numbers" is right each time but there are other mistakes that keep the web ended from being completely right in other ways.

"Number" (of people) is countable. Obviously you use the plural when it is applied to people in events and places.

Re: Large Numbers of people / Large Number of people

When you speak of one time (or the current situation), "a large number of people" and a plural verb.

A large number of Democrats hope Joe Biden will run for president.
A large number of students came to the pep rally.
A larger number of students than expected came to the pep rally.
A large number of people don't seem to know that "your" is not the same as "you're."

When you talk about repeated events or daily occurrences, use "large numbers" (as you did in your sentences).

Did you notice I wrote a large number? Based on these sentences, I think you may need help with articles.

Start every sentence with a capital letter and always capitalise 'I'.

I agree with Ted. For example:

'A large number of people came to our wedding.'
'Large numbers of people attend football matches.'
