    Position belongs to a company....

Is it correct to say that a job vacancy or position belongs to a company? I mean that the company is offering the position, then we see it on a job board and someone says that that position belongs to that company. I am focusing on the usage of "belong" in relation to position/job/vacancy, etc.

I wouldn't use "belong" in that context. I would use something like this: "Acme industries has a vacancy for an apprentice tea-stirrers mate".
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”
