    She could have revived

    Would you please take a look at my sentence and correct the mistakes? I have used "the dead" meaning anyone, is that correct, or should I write a dead person?

    She was so beautiful that people used to say that she could have revived the dead.

    It calls to mind an idiom where "the dead" is used in a similar way:

    "You're making enough noise to wake the dead!"
