the position of the word "latitude"?

    Hello, teachers.

I've found the following different word order expression:

    1. at [in] latitude 50 degrees south

    2. at [in] 50 degrees south latitude

    Which is correct?

If both are correct, which is more commonly used?

Re: the position of the word "latitude"?

To me both are equally correct and equally common. That's with the "at". I don't like the "in". It seems much less common and natural.
