He wast to do my treatment.

As I went to a hospital and was looking for my doctor who told me to visit him. As I was finding him and then I asked another doctor about my doctor. So, he asked:"What's the matter?" I told him"he(my doctor who told me to visit him on that particular date) was to do my treatment today."

So, I want to ask that whether my last sentence was correct to say:"He wast to do my treatment." If not, then please explain.

This suggests that you had made arrangements with your doctor to carry out the treatment, but that due to some reason, the arrangement got cancelled/altered.

Is this the wrong way to express:"He was to do my treatment."

Can't I use "told" instead of "asked"? Because he did not put me any question but told me to see him.
    Please explain.

"ask" is used for polite requests.
    Have a look here:

"told" makes it sound more like an order!
