    accommodations in the mountain

You won't find any accommodations in the mountain. (Standard TOEFL Vocabulary)
Can I say any accommodations on the mountain?
    I need native speakers' help.

    Re: accommodations in the mountain

Yes. In fact, if we are talking about any single mountain, then we should say on unless the accommodations were actually inside the mountain.

If we are talking generally about an area with several mountains, then it would be in the mountains.

What do you mean by "standard TOEFL vocabulary"? Sometimes my students will buy practice materials, and there are often errors in them.

Standard TOEFL Vocabulary is a book published by Jong Wen Books Co., Ltd, Taiwan. Its editor is Wang Xin, a Chinese professor of English.

There would appear to be many errors in that book, sitifan.
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”
