She has slept through her dose of antibiotics - is it properly used?

    Hello everybody!

I would like to say that someone, who is ill, missed his regular dose of pills because she overslept. The reason why she overslept was that her alarm didn't go off at the right time.

Is it proper to say "She slept through her dose of antibiotics" or should it be expressed in a different way?

Maybe, "She missed taking her antibiotics" or ""She missed her antibiotics". (She failed to swallow them).

    Thank you.

First, you changed genders in the first sentence. You moved from "his" regular dose to "she" overslept.

For the rest, I would say she failed to take her antibiotics because she overslept.

Don't be surprised. It is typical of a scatterbrain.
