    Question Has arrived or arrived?

    Just saw a post
    "New item has arrived."
    and I want to ask why cannot use
    "New item has been arrived."

    We do not normally use arrive in the passive voice. Arrive doesn't take an object- you cannot say the delivery person arrived the new post, so we cannot make this into a passive sentence.
