    Translation

    Hello,
I have a question about the specific of translation. I have seen the Russian Forum "Russia calling", but I think the name of forum should translating from Russian in other way. So, why it is "Russia calling", but not "Russia is calling"? What the difference is?
    Thanks in advance

    Re: Translation

    Welcome to the forum.

The name of a forum does not need to be a complete sentence. 'Russia Calling' is fine.

Please note that a better title would have been Russia (is) calling.

    Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'
