    Question about the quotation marks

Where should I put the full stops in the sentences below, before or after the closing quotation marks?

    Sentence 1:
    a) One day, she found a wallet with a note saying, “Don’t open me.”
    b) One day, she found a wallet with a note saying, “Don’t open me”.

    Sentence 2:
    a) She became a member of the Folk Group of Song and Dance “Resovia Saltans.”
    b) She became a member of the Folk Group of Song and Dance “Resovia Saltans”.

Re: Question about the quotation marks

    I am not a teacher.

In US English, the full stop is placed inside the quotation mark.
In British English, the full stop is placed outside the quotation mark.
