    is deference with

    Hi,

Is bold parts of the following sentences correct grammatically?

In this research, standard wall function is used that the blade adjacent cells required the Y+ value in the range of 30-60. Therefore, the y+ value was generally around 60. On the other hand, this study is deference with past works dealing with the numerical simulation of the flow through Wells turbines[] in terms of refinement of the domain discretization.

    Thanks.

    Best.

    Ali

    It's "in deference to."

Without knowing the specifics, above are the suggested edits.
