.In todayís world
exploitation andexploration and exploitation of natural resources is at its peak, mostly for commercial gains. for the sake of personal benefit. This is an alarming situation, and many argue that there is dire need for oftaking precautionaryappropriate measures in the face of such unsustainable practices. Despite of this,Nonetheless, I diddo not agree that the solution is to some extent tolimiting the use of modern products and encouraging companies to make long-lasting products. By doing so, we are compromising safety issuesand depriving people to take benefits fromof modern and advanced technology.
There is no doubt that modern products are designed in accordance
towith the latest technology and safety standards. measures. For instance, today's cars are much better in performance and more securesafer than older cars, and new cars have state-of-the-art features such as air bag, camera and internet connectivity etc. Those functions make the car more reliable, anddurable and comfortable for its users. Additionally, being as a part of modern and diverse world, one should be equipped with modern products to create ease and comfort in their life.
On the other hand, durable and long-lasting products will create discrimination among people, as such products require
huge amountenormous resources for itstheir development and would not be within the reach of poor people. Moreover, this will have a negative impact on new and inexperienced companies to develop kind ofproducts that demand enormous funds and time. Thus, it will cause unemployment as not too many businesses would able to bear such huge expenses.
To sum up, I would like to say that governments should come up with a pragmatic approach to devise alternative solutions to the depletion of natural resources other than
confidingdiscouraging people from using not to use latest andmodern products.
