    Dear Friends

I need to collect money for a farewell party and a gift of one of our staff who is going to retire soon after a very long service period. Could you please suggest me with good phrases to write on the request letter?

    Re: Fund Request

If this is to be an informal, personal note from you to your coworkers, why not write it in your native language? Then you can choose exactly the right words to convey your feelings.

    Re: Fund Request

Thanks for the reply, but commenly we use English in the company. Therefore, I need a good paragraph in English showing the coworkers her long service and importancy of having a great farewell.

    Re: Fund Request

Try to write it yourself, post it here and we will comment.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
