    Question Double negative

    Hello,
The general rule says double negative is not correct in English. However, I've seen written 'Why don't you don't know it...?' And my question is: is it grammatically correct or not? Thank you very much.

No, it's not correct. "Why do you not (don't you) know it?" is correct.
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”

Thank you. That's what I thought but, seeing so many non-gramatically correct sentences on the Internet made me hesitate.
