    In a robe

    Is it correct to say,
"As I was strolling , I saw four monks in a robe chatting to themselves looking into the sea."?

    Re: In a robe

As I was strolling, I saw four monks in robes, chatting (to each other) as they looked at the sea.

    Re: In a robe

If I saw four monks in one robe while I was strolling, I would certainly stop in my tracks with surprise!
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
