    a weird relative clause.

    Hi,
I have come across the following sentence which sounds weird/incorrect to me:

"[..]..With a life like the narrator has, you can't...[..]"

    I'd rather say:

" [..]..With a life like the one the narrator has, you can't...[..]"

    So, is sentence 1 wrong?

    thanks!

    No.

Please note that a better title would have been ...a life like (the one) the narrator has.
