    a. The general went to the tyrant, full of anger and hate.
    Can we tell who is full of lies and hate?

    b. The general went to the tyrant, wearing his uniform.
    Can we tell who is wearing the uniform?

    b. The general went to the tyrant, dressed in a strange outfit.

    Can we tell who is dressed in a strange outfit?

    The commas indicate that it is the general.
