    Spiritual focus

I am not sure about what spiritual focus means; does it mean the same thing like equanimity or clear mind?

“I often go on weekend retreats to the monastery. That’s where Brother Richard and I became friends.” Alexander referred to the practice of leaving the clamor of everyday life and spending time in the quiet of a monastery, meditating to achieve spiritual focus.

    Thank you very much

    Re: Spiritual focus

He is probably talking about becoming one with nature or one with God. He is probably hoping to achieve inner peace. In fact, he will probably mention one or more of those things at some point.
