    Disadvantaged people

    Hello!
Who are disadvantaged people? Are my elderly parents disadvantaged who I live with and who pensioners are? Is it possible to say that everybody who is old and cannot serve themselves is a disadvantaged person?
Please, show me every single one of my mistakes. Thank you.

    Re: Disadvantaged people

There are many people who are disadvantaged in one way or another.
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”

Poor people, disabled people, people who lack education, religious minorities in some cases, racial minorities in some cases, etcetera, etcetera.

    Re: Disadvantaged people

There are people who are disadvantaged because they don't know how to spell. And they are all on Facebook.

    Re: Disadvantaged people

In answer to the second question in your post, no, not all elderly people are disadvantaged. Many have plenty of money, a beautiful home, travel the world in their retirement and enjoy themselves immensely.

    Re: Disadvantaged people

Age alone doesn't make someone disadvantaged, but it could be a disadvantage before someone is actually old- middle-aged people who are looking for work often find that their age works against them.
