get let down; around invoices; come at lower price point

I've been watching an interview with S.Cook, the founder of Intuit, and here are some phrases I didn't quite understand:

    1) 05:15 - 05:25 https://youtu.be/yKrp0sO3PJg?t=315
so it's even worse when you get let down.
Is it the same case as with "to have/get something done", meaning that smb did smth for you, you did't do it yourself? So the sentence means they failed because of their own bad decisions or because someone else got in their way?

QuickBooks is typically used in the back office, around invoices
As far as I know an invoice is a document with different items, their quantity, price etc. listed on it. But how to understand using the software "around" invoices?

Payments group that came at a much lower price point
That group offered its services at lower prices than others?

Almost all of his students got a score of 1 or 2 in their AP physics.
I thought that 1 or 2 isn't a good score for a test, is it? But concerning the context it sounds like the teacher was proud of his students.

Will be very grateful for your help!

    Welcome to the forum, Iryn.

Please write 'somebody' and 'something' in full in future posts.

When somebody lets you down, they disappoint you in some way - perhaps by breaking a promise or missing a deadline.

Please ask the other unrelated questions in separate threads.
