as opposed to, on the other hand

I have been tring to write an academic report if the using of "as opposed to" and "on the other hand" accurate.

Do I have any mistakes in whole sentences related to use "as opposed to" and "on the other hand" gramatically ?

1- Besides, the most remarkable reason to use electricity was the heating rooms and water(52.5%) on this as opposed to vacuum cleaners (15%)

    2-
The average electricity, on the other hand, which was 52.5% was used by the British for heating rooms and water nonetheless the ratio was a mere 15% on vacuum cleaners.

I don't understand much of your text.
I strongly advise you to write simply and clearly. Don't try deliberately to write complex sentences. That just makes your writing hard to understand, which only frustrates the reader.

Use www.fraze.it to see some examples of how those phrases are used.

I have been trying to explain a pie chart which is given below. Also, I have to write complex sentences because the IELTS exam want from me complex sentences. That is why I wrote this sentences. Do you still think they are incomprehensible?

Yes, they are rather incomprehensible. If you wish to make use of the two phrases by way of practice, then something like:

1 "..the biggest percentage of electricity usage (heating) as opposed to the smallest percentage (vacuuming)" (I haven't tried to construct the whole sentence here, but to give the idea of how as opposed to could make sense. You need two ideas which are opposite to each other.)
2 We would often use on the other hand to start a sentence, so it wouldn't give you a complex sentence.

I know this answer only gives you a few starting ideas.

    Perhaps:

The greatest use of electricity is for heating rooms and for heating water.
