    Imagine you'd be one of these children.

    Is it actually grammatically correct to say: "imagine you would..."?


    "Imagine you'd be one of these children."


    I think the correct version of this sentence is: "imagine you were one of these children".

    Am I right?

    "Imagine you had been/were/are one of these children" all work. In BrE, "Imagine you would be ..." doesn't work.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
