I don't think "relevant" is necessary, with or without the article.

Please let me know whether my sentence below needs an article 'the' in front of 'relevant'? Thanks a lot.
"We will discuss (A. relevant B. the relevant ) matters concerning the forthcoming important event."
I don't think "relevant" is necessary, with or without the article.
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”
— Arthur Schopenhauer
maoyueh, please note that a better title would have been We will discuss (the) relevant matters.
If you want to use "relevant" you could write: "We will discuss matters relevant to the forthcoming important event."
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”
