which many other countries agree ?.

Israel and European Union have failed to resolve a row over Israel's controversial barrier in the West Bank. A high level talk took place in Israel while Israel was very angry at EU's opposition to the barrier, which many other countries agree. The Foreign Minister expressed his doubts whether Israel could, in the future, consider EU as a trusted partner. Yet the EU representatives expressed EU's deep concern over Palestinian's humanitarian needs. Earlier, the International Court, which has no binding power, ruled that the barrier being constructed by Israel, violates international laws. The United Nations General Assembly then voted overwhelmingly for the removal of the barrier. The UN Security Council has not yet considered the case. (Quoted from Linking English)

In the sentence in red acceptable? I feel that it should be as follows:
A high level talk took place in Israel while Israel was very angry at EU's opposition to the barrier, which many other countries agree with.

I agree with the addition of "with".

Re: which many other countries agree ?.

Even with "with" it is unclear whether "many other countries" agree with the EU's position or with Israel's barrier.

Re: which many other countries agree ?.

Would it be better to say 'with which many other countries agree'?

Should it be 'the barrier', which is closer to the relative pronoun?

The whole thing is poorly written, Matthew.

Re: which many other countries agree ?.

Perhaps it should be, but we don't normally agree with barriers. It's a badly constructed sentence.
