Please could I ask whether these sentences are all right or acceptable? (I would think they should be all grammatically correct. But I wonder whether they are in common usage.)

1. This word is easy to remember/to be remembered/to forget/to be forgotten.
2. It's easy (for them/us) to remember/forget this word.
3. This word remembers/forgets easily.

4. This plant is easy to die.
5. This plant dies easily.

1. This sentence is correct with "to remember" or "to forget". The other two options are not correct.

2. This sentence is correct with the listed options.

3. Not correct.

4. Not correct.

5. This sentence is grammatical but it is very strange.

Thanks a lot, Mike. Then for 5, could we say 'It's easy for this plant to die'?

Each individual plant can only die once. You might say "this plant species doesn't live very long".

May I say 'this plant species does not survive easily'?
