    Re: will be -

    'be' has three functions, actually.

    1. main verb
    EX: I will be a teacher. <future>
    EX: I am a teacher. <present>
    EX: I was a teacher. <past>

    2a. auxiliary verb: active
EX: I will be going to school tomorrow.
EX: I am going to school tomorrow.
EX: I was going to school tomorrow.

    2b. auxiliary verb: passive
EX: Sam will finish the dishes by the time you get home. ACTIVE
EX: The dishes will be finished by the time you get home. PASSIVE

Shouldn't that be "Sam will have finished the dishes by the time you get home."?

    Re: will be -

Thanks, dihen. I corrected the error.

    Note,
Sam will finish the dishes => The dishes will be finished
Sam will have finished the dishes => The dishes will have been finished
