Seek and ye shall find adoration

What's the real meaning of the sentence: "Seek and ye shall find adoration". It's a part of a song called Trouble by Nashville Cast and I think that's something related to religion.

These are the whole song lyrics:

Trouble loves you like a thief
    Trouble fills a certain need
    Tangles up the truth
    Baby you're the proof
Trouble is a friend that never sleeps

    Seek and ye shall find
Adoration hold on for your life
'Cause temptation comes in shades of white
    But leaves you bleeding red
    Trouble's movin' in

Comes in every shape and size
    Trouble wears a cheap disguise
And all the satin in this town
Can't wrap me up or pull me down
As fast as the look of desire in your eyes

    Seek and ye shall find
Adoration hold on for your life
'Cause temptation comes in shades of white
    But leaves you bleeding red
    Trouble's movin' in

    Seek and ye shall find
Adoration hold on for your life
'Cause temptation comes in shades of white
    But leaves you bleeding red
    Trouble's movin' in

Re: Seek and ye shall find adoration

Hi Pedro, "Seek and ye shall find" is a biblical phrase that means, roughly, if you look for something you will find it. I personally have always felt that because it doesn't say "seek and ye shall find what ye seek," it is open to interpretation. That is, you may find what you are looking for, you may find something else. I'm a fan of the show "Nashville."

    Say:
    These are the lyrics.

I am not sure how you seek adoration, but I would say you attract adoration because you are adorable.

Many songs, and I would include this one, use phrases as a gloss to try to create an impression. There are quite a few religious phrases in it. I would just go with the general flow rather than trying to extract exact meanings. I think the meaning is more impressionistic than precise.
