    which Preposition is correct in buying : FOR or IN

    Ex1: I bought it for 50 Rupees.
    Ex2: I bought it in 50 Rupees.
    I know ex1. is correct. Is Ex2 also correct ?

    I would not use it- it sounds wrong to me. (British English speaker)
