to hire those in whom they are confident and

Employers tend to hire those in whom they are confident and who they have already seen at work.

Does "those" work in the sentence above?
Please, correct all my mistakes. I should know English perfectly and if you show me my mistakes I will achieve my dream a little bit faster. A lot of thanks.

Not a teacher nor a native speaker.

Re: to hire those in whom they are confident and

    I am not a teacher.

    'Those' works, but 'in' doesn't.

It is OK, for example, to be confident in a person's ability to do something, but I wouldn't be confident in a person

For me, it should be either, 'those of whom they are confident' or 'those in whom they have confidence'.

Yes, it does, but you should change 'who' to 'whom'.

    How about:

Employers tend to hire those who inspire confidence.
