    Talking question about diphtongs

    hi every one
    in this word cure why it is a diphtongs sound
    I have read A diphthong is a speech sound that begins with one vowel sound and changes to another vowel sound in the same syllable

    It's not a dipthong for everybody. In my variety of English, the word is pronounced with the /ʊə/ diphthong. In other varieties , the sound may not be a diphthong, for example, /ʊ/ or /ɔː/.
