    Learning the basics is one thing, but learning all the nuances can take a lot of time - even people who have been learning a language for years can make mistakes.

    Tenses are especially difficult for us native Chinese speakers, so I don't think the OP can learn them fast, unless s/he has an aptitude for languages.
