    picture person

I am not normally a picture person. (Brian Mills, Three Times Three Equals Twelve, page 100)

What is a picture person? Does it mean a person good at drawing or painting?
    I need native speakers' help.

We'll know better when we get the context.

    Re: picture person

I am not normally a picture person. I'm neither artistic, nor do I have a good imagination. Some people can visualize an old building in a reformed state, or even in its original state; others can create beauty out of a piece of clay. God sometimes speaks through pictures and visions. (Brian Mills, Three Times Three Equals Twelve, page 100)

"Does a picture person mean a person good at drawing or painting?"

    Not to me.

In my opinion, you are talking about an artistic person.

    Re: picture person

In BrE, a/an "XXX person" usually refers to their taste.

Do you eat bananas at breakfast?
No. I'm not really a banana person.

Would you like to go and see that Salvador Dali exhibition?
No thanks. I'm not a Dali person.

Do you think Aunt Jean would like to join us for a 12-mile walk?
I don't think so! She's not really an outdoors person.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: picture person

On a computer support forum, I saw 'a keyboard person' and I guessed it was a person who used the keyboard a lot. Was I right or wrong?
    I am not a teacher.
