    have to or must

A kid is playing with his/her friends in the garden. Then his/her mother calls his/her to come home.
What does he say to his friends?I must go now or I have to go . I dont want to stop the play but my mother wants it.
    thanks.

    Re: have to or must

"I must go" and "I have to go" are both correct and mean the same.
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”

Also right is "I've got to go". ("I have got to go").

    Re: have to or must

A child is unlikely to say 'I must go now' in this context.
