Hi, I'd like to know the opposite word of toll-free call.
Is "pay call" correct or understandable?

If the opposite is a toll-free call, it seems logical to me to call it a toll call.

In the old days of monopoly phone service, calls that were outside of your local calling area were called "toll calls."

I made a mistake in my question. I should have asked, "What do you call calls we have to pay the charge?"

Your original question was perfectly understandable.
