    I agree, but if the person were holding them and not wearing them, I'd only use with.

    If you are talking about eyeglasses, I would use "the" before "glasses."

    I think "I don't know the man with glasses on" is much clearer if he is actually wearing them.

    In order to be certain that we're talking about spectacles, we would have to say "I don't know the man wearing glasses".

    Context is, of course important. If it were "I don't know the man with the glasses but I know the woman with the plates", I would assume that both referred to crockery.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
