    Email Writing

Hello, I am writing a business email. However, I am not sure I should use "is" or "to be" in the following sentence. Please advise. Thanks, P

    Welcome to the forum.

    Only 'is' is grammatical.

I think 'whether' is missing after 'sure'.

    Re: Email Writing

Mayltthew,, the word is "ensure" and the wording should be:

Please follow up with the supplier to ensure that this deficiency is addressed prior to final release of holdbacks.

I suspect Matthew was referring to "sure" in the OP's second sentence.
