    As I remember

Jokaec posted a question which I somehow managed to delete and can't retrieve. Here it is:

Can I shorten 'as far as I remember' to 'as I remember'? For example, 'As I remember, before I left home, I already checked all the burner of the stove and they were all off.'

Thank you for all your replies in 'hit vs. arrive at somewhere' and 'make upset vs. stimulate vs. provoking' and ''verdict' vs. 'sentence' and 'spare or give a few minutes' and 'self-esteem vs. self-respect' threads, especially emsr2d2 and Skrej and MikeNewYork and teechar and bhaisahab and BobK and Tarheel and so on.

    Re: As I remember

Yes, you can shorten the phrase in the way you indicated.

    Re: As I remember

    Just change 'burner' to 'burners'.
