    This is rrr733 and I'd like to ask what they mean.
    - demand that any spending cuts be accompanied by revenue increases (New York Times, 2013)
    - Business would still be left with record reserves, much higher than those accumulated in earlier recessions (The Guardian, 2013).

    Please post complete sentences (the first example is incomplete) and ask unrelated questions in separate threads, with a title specific to each.

    For example, spending cuts would be good for the first example, and record reserves for the second.
