What is the exact meaning of "takeaway" in the following bold sentence?
The “takeaway” nature of mobile technology sways the debate in favor of technology.

Is "transportable" a synonym for it?

In a book about mobile pedagogy. It is abour traditional instruction and new educational methods using mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets.

It is a collection of papers. The above passage was from the eight chapter called "Does Mobile Technology Have a Place in Differentiated Instruction?"
Its writer is "Therese M. Cumming".
