What does on brink of sweep mean?
That's in "headline English", an abbreviated language used in newspaper headlines. It means "on the brink of a sweep." The writer thinks the Spurs are about to win every game (or "match") of a series.

When a sports team sweeps a series it wins every game in that series. The Spurs at 3-0 would thus be on the verge of sweeping their opponent.
