    Same

"He monitored the spatial distribution of soil moisture at the same depths and experimental area"

I would like to mean "at the same depths" and "at the same experimental area".

Does the sentence above gives the idea that it's the same depths and the same experimental area? Or should I write "at the same depths and at the same experimental area"?

    Many thanks

    Re: Same

The first version makes it clear the depths are the same, but it's less clear it's the same area.

You could also say "at the same depths in the same experimental area".

It's rarely necessary to click on both.

It's not necessary, but some people do it.
