more artistic than scientific

Hi,

I intend to express the meaning that Cloud Computing Optimization should be considered to be artistic, not simply scientific, and I think calling it art is closer to its essence than calling it science.

Which sentences of the following are correct?
1. Cloud Computing Optimization is more artistic than scientific.
2. Cloud Computing Optimization is not so scientific as artistic.
